What is BMYTF?
The Be Mighty Youth Task Force (BMYTF) is an appointed group of kids/teens that function as a student body government. BMYTF members help plan, participate in volunteer service projects, earn volunteer hours, and help in the selection of young adult materials for the library.
BMYTF is a great way to have fun, make friends, and become an integral part of the library system and play an active role in fighting hunger in our community. BMYTF members also develop leadership, public speaking, and writing skills that look great on any college or job application! Additionally, they may be eligible to earn the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from the White House for volunteer service completed during the BMYTF year.
Application Information
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis & applications will be reviewed bi-monthly. The Be Mighty team will reach out via email if your application is approved and will contain the details for the next YTF meeting.
