USDA Meal Service

Be Mighty supports afterschool and summer meal programs at 11 CALS library sites. The meals are funded by the USDA and are designed to provide kids and teens ages 18 and under free, healthy meals Monday through Saturday. Nutrition Education
Be Mighty hosts and facilitates in-person and virtual cooking, garden, and nutrition education classes for kids and families in partnership with CALS branches and other nonprofit organizations.
SNAP Assistance

Be Mighty team members and certain trained library staff facilitates SNAP(Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) application assistance for patrons wanting to receive food stamps. Find out more here.

Be Mighty supplies children and families in Little Rock with free monthly bus passes. Learn more here.
Little Free Pantry Program

In partnership with the CALS, Be Mighty operates 10 Little Free Pantries in the Little Rock region. LFPs are an easy way for neighbors to help neighbors who need food or other items like hygiene products.
Community Fridges

Be Mighty has installed community fridges at the McMath and Nixon library branches. Stocked weekly, the fridges provide patrons with perishable foods otherwise unavailable through our LFPs.
