The easiest way to get involved with Be Mighty Little Rock is by becoming a volunteer. With your help, youth in Little Rock will be able to eat, play, and learn in a healthy, active, and safe environment.
Volunteers are an integral part of the meals program. Volunteers must be 16 to 65 years of age. Volunteers under 18 must have parent/ guardian approval. Afterschool hours start August 16, 2021 and go through May 2022. Meal service is Monday-Friday, 4:00-5:30 p.m. and Saturday 11:00-12:30 p.m. These hours are standard across all branches unless otherwise stated, or as library hours are effected by holiday hours.
Exceptions to the above stated hours:
– Dee Brown will serve meals from 2:45-4:30 p.m. M-F
– Fletcher will serve meals from 4:00-5:30 p.m. M-Sat
– McMath will serve meals from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Sat
– Rooker will serve meals from 11:30-12:30 p.m. on Sat
– Williams will serve meals from 3:30-4:30 p.m. M-F
Outside of these exceptions, branches will serve meals at the standard times. For example, Dee Brown has an exception M-F, but Sat hours are the standard 11:00-12:30 p.m.
Volunteers must arrive 15 minutes before the meal service time begins. For more information and to sign-up as a volunteer with meal distribution, click here. If you have questions or would like more information contact Polly Deems at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Thank you for helping us protect each other and our community.
